Tras una larga espera, y casi 5 años después de publicar su aclamado álbum “Exchange Levels” (Irregular, 2013), los reyes del pop sintetizado patrio, enfrascados en un viaje por su espacio interior que los tenía un tanto alejados de estas galaxias más cercanas,están de regreso. Charly, Iván y Alex ​(Lasers) ​salen de su letargo para presentar su quinta referencia, en este caso un EP de 4 cortes que como su título indica ​‘Possible Start Conditions’, ha necesitado que pasara un tiempo hasta que precisamente se dieran estas perfectas condiciones para sacarlo a la luz, para recomenzar.

Con una trayectoria de indiscutible calidad luego de 4 lanzamientos a sus espaldas, y de haber brillado en festivales como ​Sónar​, ​Primavera Sound​, ​Embassa’t ​-por nombrar algunos-​, ​y un enorme número de salas de toda nuestra geografía, sólo era una cuestión de espacio-tiempo hasta que ​Lasers​ pusiera nuevamente su nave en órbita.

La teoría del ​Multiverso da nombre a este EP de 4 cortes, con una clara visión puesta en los viajes espaciales, temporales e interdimensionales, que nos lleva a un terreno más enfocado a la pista de lo que nos tenían acostumbrados. El tiempo parece haber hecho su trabajo a la perfección, rescatando los elementos del sonido propio de la banda, pero reforzándolos con una visión mucho más hedonista, más comprometida con el dancefloor.

Manteniendo su línea de electrónica orgánica, ​Lasers ​nos guían a una dimensión donde el Nu-Disco, el Space Disco más nórdico y el Old School House conviven en completa armonía. Atrás quedaron los momentos oníricos y ensoñadores, o la lírica pop de sus anteriores trabajos. En su lugar, encontramos un sonido crudo, puro, que incita al baile en su forma más primitiva.

“2122″ ​abre este EP (que será editado en 10” y digital) con un largo fade in que nos lleva directos al más allá, donde la tensión y la sorpresa se dan la mano, para seguidamente meternos de lleno en ​”Triangular Sides​”, que no es más que una referencia a la exploración de las pirámides encontradas en este nuevo mundo. La nave continua su viaje orbital con una parada técnica en ​”Weekly Report”​, cual suerte de trámite burocrático espacial necesario para llegar al destino final (o no) de este tramo estelar:​ “Maps​”, en donde la alegría de este corte House pone una pausa antes de la siguiente parada en el universo de esta banda, que sigue demostrando que está en perfecta forma.

After a long wait, and almost 5 years after publishing their famous album “​ExchangeLevels” (Irregular, 2013), the kings of the synthesized native pop, engaged in a journey through their inner space that had them somewhat away from these closest galaxies. They are back. Charly, Iván and Alex ​(Lasers) come out of their lethargy to present their fifth reference, in this case a 4-section EP that, like its title indicates “Possible Start Conditions​”, has needed some time until the precise moment to give these perfect conditions to bring it to the light, to restart.

With a trajectory of unquestionable quality after 4 releases behind them, and having shone at festivals such as ​Sónar, Primavera Sound, Embassat – to name a few -, and a huge number of venues on a national level, it was just a matter of time and space until​Lasers​put their ship back into orbit.

The theory of the ​Multiverse gives its name to this 4-section EP, with a clear vision of spatial, temporal and inter-dimensional travels, which takes us to a terrain more focused on the dancefloor than we were accustomed to. Time seems to have done its job perfectly, rescuing the elements of the bands own sound, but reinforcing them with a much more hedonistic vision, more committed to a club vision.

Keeping their line of organic electronics, ​Lasers guide us to a dimension where the Nu-Disco, the Nordic Space Disco and the Old School House coexist in complete harmony. One are the dreamy moments, or the lyrical pop of his previous works. Instead, we find a raw, pure sound that prompts dance in its most primitive form.

“2122″ opens this EP (which will be edited in 10 vinyl and digital) with a long fade in that takes us straight to the afterlife, where tension and surprise go hand in hand, then we immediately get into “​Triangular Sides​”, which is nothing more than a reference to the exploration of the pyramids found in this new world. The ship continues its orbital journey with a technical stop in ​Weekly Report​, which is a kind of bureaucratic spatial procedure necessary to reach the final destination (or not) of this stellar section:​ “Maps​”, where the joy of this house cut puts a pause before the next stop in the universe of this band, which continues to prove that it is in perfect form.
