Following the just released and much lauded ‘Cryosleep’ album by Null + Void is the new Single ‘Take It Easy’ which gets a much deserved airing along with excellent remixes by Null + Void himself.
The song is a collaboration with the seminal electro-shoegaze band The Big Pink and turns out to be a melodic gem for the winter months.
The Null + Void Remix gets deeper into his legendary programming skills – a mechanoid electro track that steps up the energy to another level.
Also included is an instrumental of this remix – stripping away the vocals and leaving plenty of space for DJs, while the Dub version works like a classic New York club B side – deconstructing parts of the track bringing back vocal fragments at the optimal moments.
Starring The Big Pink’s Robbie Furze and model Vivien James the video is set in a futuristic city where stolen memories of love are sold online like pornography. A faceless character in a high tower watches over the vast city. In a dark room, a lonely soul tries to find human connection through a purchased memory of a beautiful girl.

El nuevo vídeo-clip que se extrae del recientemente publicado LP de Null + Void ‘Cryosleep’ corresponde a la decadente y futurista balada sintética de título ‘Take it Easy‘. Si anteriormente tuvimos participando a Gave Gahan de Depeche Mode, en esta ocasión sentiremos el frío vocal de Robbie Furze de la banda de electro-shoegaze The Big Pink.
Video: filmado y dirigido por Aluapa Waymore y “ambientado en una ciudad de L.A. un tanto futurista donde los recuerdos románticos son robados y luego vendidos on-line tal como se hace hoy en día con la pornografía. Un vigía sin rostro que controla toda la ciudad desde una torre y una habitación oscura donde un alma solitaria intenta re-encontrar sus lazos humanos a través de un recuerdo comprado, el de una hermosa joven colada por el rojo”.
